Responding to an apparently erroneous report that she and Zac Efron engaged in a "steamy sex affair" that, according to Hollywood Life, originated with Star magazine, Minaj took to Twitter to refute the rumor with seemingly incontrovertible evidence.
"Who exactly is Zac Efron tho? I'm sorry, I'm so confused," the "Starships" artist tweeted today (then later deleted, per Gossip Cop).
A fan then reportedly informed her exactly who Efron is, tweeting a shirtless pic of the 25-year-old actor, to which Minaj replied, "Oooohhhh ok... Well I guess that rumor isn't so bad after all. lmfao."
There's been no word from Efron about the report, via Twitter or any other means.
Earlier this summer, Minaj wielded an on-air proposal from DJ Khaled, who during an interview with MTV News turned to the camera and said, "Nicki Minaj, I'm at MTV. I love you. I like you. I want you. I want you to be mine. I'm here at MTV because it's a worldwide network. Only reason I'm not telling you this face to face is because I understand that you're busy. Ima be honest with you, I wanna marry you."
She never commented on the sincerity of the gesture, but did retweet the video.
As of July, when Khaled kinda popped the question, Minaj had been romantically linked to hip-hop writer-producer Safaree Samuels for quite some time.
