The 31-year-old beauty took to Twitter today to share a sweet photo of her "soul mate"—her adorable puppy Joplin, a black poodle mix that Clarkson adopted in 2011.
"I'm just gonna say it... he's my soulmate. #joplin #sorrybrandon #hashtag," the American Idol alum captioned the precious pic where she's giving her pup an "eskimo kiss" while cuddling her furry friend.
Clarkson is sporting a floral hoodie in the shot which is almost too cute for words as she gives her pooch a big squeeze, showing off her love for her very important pet.
The engaged songbird is the proud parent of two delightful dogs, Joplin and Security, and has previously said her precious pups are her "babies" that she "sleeps with every night."
