It's been announced that Lady Gaga will join Arcade Fire and Eminem for the upcoming event, which will take place on Nov. 3.
The first-ever award show from the video platform will be 90-minutes of live entertainment (and six award categories) and is set to take place at Pier 36 in New York City.
Spike Jonze has signed on as the show's Creative Director, while Rushmore actor Jason Schwartzman will take the stage as host for the evening.
Jonze told Billboard magazine that the rare opportunity intrigued him from the get-go.
"I want to find out if we can make a whole night just about making things," Jonze explained. "Instead of just doing performances, can we do live collaborations?"
When asked if he's worried about whether or not 90 minutes is too long for YouTube viewers, he said, "There are no rules. Why does there have to be rules? It's the Internet."
And while Jonze is busy planning on what's sure to be an exciting moment in the music industry, Gaga is busy at work on her own creation: Artpop.
The wait for one of the most highly anticipated albums of the year is almost over and Mother Monster is putting the finishing touches on her masterpiece.
She took to Twitter to give a update to fans, and as per usual, shared her progress in a unique way that only Gaga could.
"The head is crowning. ARTPOP birthing pains #NoEpidural SPREAD 'EM Venus the goddess is coming," she wrote.
The official release date is set for Nov. 11, but based on her tweet, Gaga's album may be an early delivery!
