Mark-Paul Gosselaar is raising the baby once again.

The actor and wife Catriona McGinn have welcomed their first child Monday, Oct. 1 today in Los Angeles, son Dekker Edward, Gosselaar's rep told E! News. (People was first to report the exciting baby news.)

"We are overjoyed with the new addition to our family. We are madly in love with our little boy," Gosselaar said. "We are madly in love with our little boy. He is healthy and just perfect -- all we could ask for,"

The Franklin & Bash star is now a father of three. He is also dad to 7-year-old daughter Ava and son Michael with ex-wife Lisa Ann Russell.

Gosselaar and McGinn, who swapped vows in July 2012, revealed that they were expecting in March.

And if Dekker seems a little out there...hey, Gosselaar promised that their baby's name would be "not traditional."

"It is different," he told People earlier this month about the name he and McGinn were thinking of, "but it's not something odd."

According to Think Baby Names, Dekker is a variation of the Hebrew name Deker, and it means piercing. (We'll assume mom and dad were going for piercing, like the gaze, and not like the hole for an earring—if they picked the name based on meaning, that is.)

Congratulations to the growing family!
