Bruce Jenner on Skin Cancer Scare: The Procedure Was "Complicated" But "I'm Fine"—Watch Now!

Bruce Jenner's skin cancer scare illustrates a very important reminder to everyone—wear your sunscreen!

The E! star made a surprise stop at Catt Sadler's house to give the E! News correspondent some tips for her upcoming half-marathon (fun fact: running on grass is a lot better for you than running on pavement), and along with the Olympian's words of wisdom, Jenner gave E! News an exclusive update on his skin cancer scare and shared what caused it.

"It's all sun damage from the '60s and '50s when I was competitively water-skiing and living on a lake and all my training outside," he told us.

"Nobody wears sunblock back then. I first had one here [points to cheek], just a little red spot. It's a Basal cell carcinoma, which is a—basically it is a skin cancer, because it doesn't heal."

Bruce explained that he got more red spots removed around his face, but there was one that specifically caused more issues than others.

"On the nose, I had a little red spot…The problem with the nose is, there's no skin to cover it up, to cover up the hole. Then I had to go to a plastic surgeon and he does this whole procedure where he…cuts the skin off your nose and replaces it. So it's a little bit more complicated just to fill the stupid little hole," he added.

But the most important part is that Jenner is "fine. It's not anything serious. It's basically sun-damaged skin."

On Tuesday, Sept. 17, the famous father caused some concern when he stepped out in Calabasas, Calif., with a heavily bandaged nose.

Jenner told Sadler that he had hoped to go through the entire process unnoticed, but a quick trip to Starbucks outed him after facing paparazzi on his way out.

Well, the man's gotta have his coffee.
