If there's one thing you can say about the hot docs on Grey's Anatomy it's that they are close. (Almost too close sometimes.) They'll pass out on top of you and they'll badger you with questions about your sex life while eating cereal.
In an exclusive sneak peek at the ABC medical hit's all-new episode this Thursday, a bored Cristina (Sandra Oh) hops into bed with Alex (Justin Chambers), but before Cristina and Owen (Kevin McKidd) fans grab their pitchforks, just know there's nothing sexual going on here as Cristina is too busy teasing Alex about his sex life with new girlfriend Jo (Camille Luddington)...
"I couldn't sleep all night. I'm bored. Really bored," Cristina says after hoping into Karev's bed, box of cereal in hand. Of course, Karev automatically assumes this means she wants to sleep with him, telling her to "call Hunt" before suggesting she try Internet dating. "Find someone else to get horny with!" But who has time for Internet dating when they can tease their friends about their non-existent sex lives? Which is exactly what Cristina does when she learns Alex and Jo aren't sleeping in the same bed. (Jo seems to prefer the floor with her fellow interns.)
"Is she a man? Secret penis?" Cristina guesses, before Alex admits that the couple hasn't had sex yet, much to her delight. "Oh, I knew you'd cheer me up," Cristina says.
While the scene is hilarious, it's a tad bittersweet knowing that Oh is set to exit the series at the end of this season. "It's been a great privilege to play the character of Cristina Yang on GA and I am both sad and excited to see where this, her final season will take her," Oh said in a statement back in August.
Grey's Anatomy airs Thursday at 9 p.m. on ABC.
