The Kardashians really know how to throw a party...so why wouldn't Kim Kardashian want one?
On this week's episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian Odom were excited to surprise their sister with a big baby shower bash. But when they tested the waters with Kim and proposed the idea, they got an unexpected response: "Who cares?"
It's not that Kim didn't want to celebrate baby North West or have friends over; really, she was concerned about the media and how aggressive the paparazzi had become.
"I feel like my pregnancy has gotten a lot of negative attention for me and the baby," Kim explained. "So I just don't feel like I really need a baby shower."
So naturally, when Kim found out that the family had been planning one anyway behind her back and that the invitations and gift registry had leaked to the public, she was pretty upset.
But after some convincing and a viewing of Kris Jenner's own baby shower video (which was, by the way, hilarious), Kim decided to go along with the party. A solution for the registry debacle helped too: In lieu of gifts, guests were encouraged to donate to a children's hospital in Chicago near where Kanye West grew up.
The party was beautiful and Kris was moved to tears while giving a speech for Kim, and Kanye was all smiles when he stopped by toward the end. How gorgeous was the setup? We loved it!
Meanwhile, Kris and Kylie Jenner found themselves dealing with another headache entirely: Getting rid of Bruce Jenner's gun! Kylie was uncomfortable knowing it was in the house, so she and Kris hatched a plan to dispose of it once and for all.
That meant that Kris had to take a gun safety test first before Bruce let her know where the gun safe was, but she passed with flying colors. Unfortunately, the plan wasn't quite so successful.
Kris and Kylie sealed Bruce's gun in a concrete block, but not before Bruce had already gone out and bought a second gun so Kris could have one of her own! Of course, Bruce decided he would just keep the new one seeing as his gun is now...well, inaccessible.
