The couple—who called off their divorce for the second time in July—was spotted in Beverly Hills, Calif. Thursday where they were snapped grabbing coffee together.
The twosome looked relaxed and laid-back for the low-key coffee date, appearing at ease with each other as paps snapped pics of the previously estranged pair.
Tish, 54, sported a comfortable style for the afternoon outing, rocking skinny jeans, a loose black sweater and a pair of gladiator sandals. Billy Ray, 52, was also dressed down for the casual date, wearing jeans and a basic button down, while sporting aviator shades and his scruffy beard.
In July, the couple, who has been married for 19 years, announced they were calling off their divorce shortly after they were spotted enjoying a romantic date in Malibu.
"I spoke to Tish and she told me they both woke up and realized they love each other and decided they want to stay together," E!'s Ken Baker, who is close family friend of the Cyrus', explained at the time. "They recently went into couple's therapy, something they hadn't done in 22 years of being together, and it's brought them closer together and really opened up their communication in amazing ways."
Baker added, "She also said marriage can be really hard, especially after 22 years of being in the entertainment business, and admitted they've had rough times. But they both realized they didn't want to be another statistic and want to make it work.
"They went into the therapy with the goal of divorcing in a way that was healthy for the children, but ended up coming out of it with the realization that they in fact want to stay together. Tish sounds happy and energized about having this fresh start."
It certainly seems as if things are going well for the longtime lovebirds. Just last month, Tish took to Instagram to share a pic of Billy Ray's new star tattoos, captioning the shot, "my hubbies new ink."
And in late June, they were spotted showing off some subtle PDA while leaving Little Tony's restaurant in North Hollywood with their youngest daughter, 13-year-old Noah, in tow.
Billy Ray previously pulled the plug on the pair's marriage for the second time in mid-June when he filed divorce papers in Nasvhille, Tenn., while Tish filed her own petition in Los Angeles.
Both parties cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split. The two originally filed for divorce in 2010 and cited the same reasons then.
