Josh Duhamel really loves being a dad.

The dapper actor, who got suited for the Hugo Boss Columbus Circle Flagship Store re-opening event last night, couldn't stop gushing about his baby boy Axl Jack, and explained why he and wife Fergie chose to release their son's hearing test photo as his first pic.

"That was a photo I took when he was getting his hearing test and it was just a funny, cute—it wasn't his cutest photo—but it was very fitting, considering who is mother was," Duhamel told E! News. "It looked like he was jammin' to music at like two days old. And so, that was the photo she wanted to put out first."

Since then, the couple have released a few more snapshots of their little boy, and he's a cutie—but that's not the only reason why the new parents are "obsessed" with him.

"First of all, we're obsessed with him," he said. "We can't stop staring at him. He's our little man, we made him together. I think there's something you can't really describe until you go through it. I think any parents out there would understand that…It's just an incredible time for both of us."

The celeb also gave us an update on the Black Eyed Peas singer, telling us, "She is doing so great. She really is. She is happy. She looks amazing for, you know, three weeks ago she gave birth and she looks probably better than she did before. I don't know if it's because of what she's been eating or what, she looks really, really great."

And what's been Duhamel's biggest surprise as a dad?

"They tell you that at his age, all they do is eat, sleep and poop. And what I've learned—what surprises me—is they can actually do all three at the same time. He can actually eat, sleep and poop at the same time. Who knew?"
