Haylie Duff is quite the chef!
The former 7th Heaven star is going back in front of the camera, but this time, she'll also be showing off one of her other talents—cooking!
Duff is taking her food blog and turning it into a Real Girl's Kitchen series on Ora TV, where fans can follow the celeb's journey recipe after recipe as she whips together delicious dishes for her friends and family (including sister Hilary Duff, who seems to be a frequent taste-tester by the looks of this clip).
"I'm just a Texas girl trying to live a grounded and inspired life in Los Angeles, California," Haylie says in the extended promo, adding that being an actress didn't fulfill everything she wanted to accomplish.
"I needed some kind of balance. I needed instant gratification for all of my creative energy, so I started cooking. Growing up in this world of glamour and Hollywood is really such a small portion of my life at this point. I really enjoy going to places like the Farmer's Markets and great butcher chops."
But it definitely took some trial and error before Haylie finally knew her way around the kitchen.
"People didn't always enjoy my cooking. It was not so great in the beginning. I made a lot of mistakes. As I got better at it and as I was more comfortable making things for the people in my life, instead of just for myself, it really became more of a social thing."
