Bird's the word in fall fashion—or rather bird feathers!

Proving she's right on trend, Pippa Middleton was pretty in plumage at the Vanity Fair & Serpentine Sackler Gallery VIP dinner in London on Tuesday night.

Looking like an exotic bird, Kate Middleton's sister turned heads in teal Matthew Williamson dress featuring a drop waist skirt decorated with peach and blue ostrich feathers. And as if that wasn't enough to catch guests' attention, her feathered frock also featured a crystal-embellished neckline for added punch.

As for accessories Pippa picked equally flamboyant shoes, slipping into teal pumps that are nothing like the understated L.K. Bennett pumps her older sister continually reaches for.

And while the Duchess of Cambridge has been known to rock a feather in a fascinator, we doubt the royal will step out in the trendy feathered style, which we saw on the fall runways at Gucci, Proenza Schouler, Dries Van Noten and Nina Ricci.

Pippa finished off her look with eyeliner rimmed eyes and loose locks, but with such an embellished dress, we were left wishing she'd pulled her hair back.

It remains to see weather this trend will take flight with other glamour gals this season, but if Pippa's anything like Kate, her Matthew Williamson will definitely fly off the shelves!

Will you turn to feathers this fall?
