Scott Eastwood might soon be giving Brad Pitt a run for his money in the hunk department.

Clint Eastwood's 27-year-old son posted a picture to his Instagram page of him flexing his muscles—while shirtless, natch—in front of a massive World War II-era tank on the set of his new movie, Fury, toplining Pitt and Shia LaBeouf.

"Trying to out flex the tank. Not working," he wrote in the caption.

Scott, of course, has taken the Internet by storm the past couple of weeks with a series of shirtless pics and a nautical-themed spread in the October issue of Town & Country.

And no doubt with a role in David Ayers' forthcoming war drama, his star in Hollywood is rising—and, if you ask him, it's not because he's Dirty Harry's kid.

In fact, the younger Eastwood told the New York Post in a recent phone interview from London that he's gone out of his way to make it on his own and not reply on the Oscar-winner's good name for breaks. Which is why for years he went by Scott Reeves, taking his mom Jacelyn's last name.

"I like being under the radar. I didn't get into this business to become famous," Eastwood told the Post. "I got into this business because I like acting and I want to make movies. I would be happy living the rest of my life never famous."

To further his ambitions too be a leading man, Eastwood auditioned under the Reeves surname at first, he said, "to at least see if I could do it myself."

"Everyone wants to pitch Eastwood; that's the cheapest game in the book," Scott added, quickly noting that "if you're not good, if you can't carry your weight in the audition room…it doesn't matter what your last name is."

It wasn't until five years ago that the Elder Eastwood convinced him to assume the famed moniker, which he said was inevitable. After being credited as Scott Reeves in the actor-director's Flags of Our Fathers and Gran Torino, he appeared as Scott Eastwood in last year's Trouble With the Curve, Clint's comeback film as an actor.

No doubt, Scott's following in dad's footsteps.
