It's been a long time (almost three months to be exact) since Lamar Odom has shared his thoughts with the Twitterverse  and fans have been eagerly waiting to hear from him.

Well, the time has finally come.

The NBA star tweeted, "Seeing the snakes" tonight, making it Odom's first post since his arrest drama and the news that there's trouble with his marriage to Khloé Kardashian Odom went public.

And if you're wondering what "snakes" he's referring to, Odom clears it up. "Won't continue 2 speak on this but I have got 2 let this out real quick. I have let this man and many others get away with a lot of shit. He wasn't there 2 raise me. He was absent ALL of my life due to his own demons. My mother and grandmother raised me. Queens raised me.

"For the first time since they left, came a blessing of a FAMILY that I married into. FAMILY. That man wasn't even invited to my wedding. He has never met my mother in law and some of my other family. How can a man who has NOT once called me to check on my well being have the nerve to talk so recklessly about his own 'son.'

"He is my downfall! His own demons may be the ONLY thing he gave 2 me. He disrespecting the ONLY FAMILY that has loved me without expecting anything in return. They are the ONLY ones that have been here consistently 4 me during this dark time. Only person 2 blame is myself. Say what you want about me but leave the ones who have done nothing but protect and love me out of this! This goes to out to everyone!"

This is the first time Lamar has said anything about the matter since it began.

Ironically enough, the last tweet he posted said, "Before her there never was and without her will never be. Wifey is real."

Odom was recently charged with one count of DUI in the wake of his battle with substance abuse. He briefly entered rehab earlier this month, but checked out after less than one day.

"Khloé gave Lamar an ultimatum: If he didn't get help, she'd end the marriage," a source told E! News. "So far, he's ignoring her."

Meanwhile, Khloé has been very active on both Twitter and Instagram, posting numerous quotes during this tough time.

Her last post was a retweet of Kylie Jenner's Instagram post, which said, "That's the problem with being the strong one. No one offers you a hand."

"She is still obviously very upset, but life it starting to move on for her and for the rest of the family," a source told E! News last week. "No more interventions, no more trying to save him."
