Did Ellen Pompeo Speak Out About the Emmys Because She Didn't Get Nominated? Let's Discuss

On Tuesday's edition of Live From E!, Jason Kennedy, Ken Baker and Melanie Bromley discussed the controversial comments Ellen Pompeo made about the 2013 Emmys.

The Grey's Anatomy actress slammed the awards show for being "dated," and stated that she was "really disappointed" there were no people of color in the dance numbers. Although she says her comments were made "off the record", they have made headlines everywhere.

Ken's first reaction was, "How many Emmys was she nominated for this year for Grey's Anatomy? Zero!" They wondered if the actress wanted attention because she "wasn't a part of the party."

FYI, Pompeo has never been nominated for an Emmy. Ever.

And just when you thought you were safe from Miley Cyrus...

She's back again! This time, she is naked on the most recent cover of Rolling Stone, calling herself a "semi-nudist" and speaking out about her controversial VMAs performance.

"No one is talking about the man behind the ass." she said. "It was a lot of Miley twerks on Robin Thicke, but never Robin Thicke grinds up on Miley. They’re only talking about the one that bent over. So obviously there’s a double standard.”

The roundtable has their own thoughts about Miley, but agree she's so talented that she doesn't need to be so crazy. She needs to move on from her nudity phase!

Lastly, the trio talked about MIA's response to the NFL's $1.5 million lawsuit against her for "flipping the bird" during Madonna's Super Bowl halftime show.

The singer-rapper made a YouTube response video, saying she finds it ridiculous that the NFL finds her finger offensive when there were underage girls "spreading their legs" onstage.

What do you think?!
