Justin Timberlake is on a roll.

Not only is the sequel to his massive hit album The 20/20 Experience due for release in just 6 days (!), but the 32-year-old performer also stars alongside Ben Affleck and Gemma Arterton in the upcoming flick Runner, Runner, which is set to hit theaters Oct. 4.

But despite being able to boost both a successful acting and singing career, Timberlake isn't afraid to share embarrassing facts from his younger years, and his most recent revelation may come as a surprise.

"I had imaginary friends," the actor admitted while opening up about his early creativity during an interview for CNN's New Day. "I was weird."

While it may be hard to believe that the sexy singer was once a kooky kid (Mickey Mouse Club, anyone?), it's clear the superstar—who calls himself a "well-calculated risk taker"—had big dreams from an early age.

"I grew up in a small town, and I definitely felt like I was an individual, always," he said, noting how his individuality fueled his initial drive. "I grew up an only child and I'm always kind of like—you know, when you grow up that way, it's like you get all the perks, but you also get all the responsibility. Like there's no one else to blame the vase getting broken on."

With that drive comes a deep appreciation for his success, and the pop star opened up about his reunion with 'N Sync at the MTV Video Music Awards last month, proving he's anything but ashamed of his boy band days.

"I just thought it was a nice tribute," he shared. "We're not going to go on tour. I mean, I'm glad people were excited about it, but funny enough, it was more for us. It was more for us to enjoy that moment because I felt like really in my heart, shared that award with those guys."

On the topic of sharing, Timberlake most recently released the second single from his upcoming album, titled "TKO," and he also posted the Part 2 tracklist via an Instagram video in mid-August.

The 20/20 Experience: Part 2 of 2 is due for release Sept. 30.
