It was a day of prayer for Prince William and Kate Middleton.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were snapped driving to services at Crathie Church in Balmoral, Scotland, on Sunday while 8-week-old Prince George remained behind with his nanny.

Foregoing a chauffeur, Will got behind the wheel himself and looked sharp in a suit while Kate appeared relaxed in the passenger's seat wearing a black hat and matching coat.

Joining them for the family outing was Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla and Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.

Will and Kate flew with George to the royals' Scotland home in a private jet early last week where the newborn met his great-grandfather for the first time.

Little George's proud parents made their first public appearance since his birth on Sept. 12 when Will and Kate attended the inaugural Tusk Conservation Awards at the Royal Society in London.

The prince is a patron of the organization, which works to protect rhinoceroses and other wildlife from threats posed by man.

Expect more royal engagements along those lines as the 31-year-old prince announced earlier this month that he was leaving the armed forces.
