Rose Byrne has gone blond!
The actress showcased her honey-colored highlights (which she reportedly has for a new role) on the 2013 Emmys red carpet. Byrne's shoulder-length hair was styled into a wavy, romantic bob, complementing the simple silhouette of her Calvin Klein Collection frock. The pale pink column gown had a hint of sex appeal, showing a strip of Byrne's midriff.
Byrne took to the red carpet with dapper actor-beau Bobby Cannavale, who also wore Calvin Klein Collection.
Want to get her loose pinned curls? John Frieda International Creative Consultant Harry Josh explains how he created her wavy-chic do:
First, Josh applied Frizz-Ease Hair Serum Original Formula ($9.99) to Rose's wet hair.
"Rose's recent transformation from brunette to blonde was a drastic change for the hair, which can often cause more frizz and overall unruliness, so it was crucial that we start with this serum for better manageability," he said.
To prep and texture the hair for the waves, Josh worked the Frizz-Ease Curl Reviver Styling Mousse ($6.99) throughout and blow-dried with his Pro Tools Pro Dryer 2000 ($300), using the wider nozzle to help build volume.
Next, Josh wrapped Rose's hair in Velcro rollers and allowed it to set for 30 minutes. Then, using a curling iron, he wrapped quarter-inch sections of hair around the iron and pinned each curl with a duckbill clip to set.
To finish, Josh let the waves down and flipped them over to mist Frizz-Ease Moisture Barrier Firm Hold Hairspray ($5.99) to ensure the style looked perfect all night long.
We personally love Rose's new hair, especially because it's been a while since the actress has done anything major to her locks. Her last notable hair makeover was a sexy blunt-bangs look worn to the 2012 SAG Awards.
