They say if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

And while Sofía Vergara's red carpet style is anything but broken, that doesn't mean fashion expert and How Do I Look? host Jeannie Mai doesn't think the star should shake up her signature style come Emmys Sunday.

"I want to see Sofia Vergara wear something different," Mai recently told E! News when asked about the upcoming award show's red carpet fashions. "I don't want to see the body-hugging mermaid dress. I don't want to the column dress—I want to see something else."

The Modern Family star has been known to consistently flaunt her voluptuous figure in tight, floor-length gowns with flared skirts, but Mai admits that no matter what she wears, the actress will undoubtedly turn heads thanks to her famous curves.

"I feel like her body just turns every dress into a sexalicious dress," she explained. "I feel like if she puts on an A-line, it turns it into that; if she put on a bubble skirt, it would turn it into a column dress—it just happens."

Hmm, doesn't sound like a bad problem to have.

As for Vergara's costar Julie Bowen, whom Mai describes as "very thin," the host has a few suggestions for adding playing up her curves.

"I think a vibrant color would play off the body shape really well," she said. "I like her in jewel tones. I would say an emerald green would be beautiful for her because it would lighten her up."
