The wait is over!
After teasing the release (for what felt like an eternity) of a new single on Thursday, Sept. 19, Justin Timberlake's song "TKO" has made its debut.
The Grammy winner asked his fans "you ready to hear it in full????" on his Instagram account with a black and white picture, posing as a boxer, with "TKO" written in big red letters.
The answer is...yes!
JT croons "I'm out for the count, yeah, girl, you knock me out, It's just a TKO" over an up-tempo catchy beat.
This is the second track off the 32-year-old singer's upcoming album, The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2, which will be released on Sept. 30.
He also posted a pic directing fans to his website to listen to the song with a simple message: "TKO is out now."
With an extra emphasis on the now!
The lead-up to the release of "TKO" featured several photos and quick clips of the song on Timberlake's Instagram account.
In one quick clip, the teaser ended with Timberlake singing "you knock me out."
The entertainer also added a few photos, including a shot in the studio, behind the mic, with the simple message: "Get ready... #The2020Experience #2of2 #youneverknow." He also posted a pic of a note asking his fans, "should I release a new single today?"
Thanks for following through, JT.
What do you think of "TKO"?
