Let the good times roll or off with their heads?!

That is the question we're asking you about the series premiere of Sleepy Hollow, which is Fox's modern-day twist on Washington Irving's classic The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Sure, Ichabod Crane (breakout star Tom Mison) and the Headless Horseman are still around, but that's really where the similarities end between the story and Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Len Wiseman's new drama, which finally premiered tonight.

One part police procedural and one part supernatural thriller with some buddy-cop comedy sprinkled on top, Sleepy Hollow adds up to one crazy concept that could come off cheesy, but luckily lands on the insanely fun side of the TV spectrum. Now that you've finally watched Sleepy Hollow, we're curious to know if the inventive drama worked as well for you as it did for us...

When we meet Ichabod Crane, he's in the middle of an intense battle during the Revolutionary War, where he beheads a mysterious and masked Hessian soldier, but sustained critical injuries. He passes out and then wakes up in 2013...along with the Headless Horseman, which leads him to team up with young cop Abbie Mills (a delicious Nicole Beharie), who has a pretty spooky backstory of her own. Their banter throughout the premiere is truly delightful, especially when Ichabod asks if Abbie has been emancipated. It's tricky territory and Sleepy Hollow pulls it off with ease.

Of course, there's more to the story than just odd couple chemistry as we learn the Headless Horseman is actually part of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and Ichabod and Abbie were fated to meet to stop the end of the world in between teaching the Brit how to use an iPad and gifting him with his first cronut.

Going forward, viewers can expect to see the series keep a healthy balance of scares and laughs, with star Orlando Jones more than happy to support those who will be frightened by Sleepy Hollow.  "I'm actually personally the cuddler of the show. I think it's important to cuddle and snuggle especially when people are scared," he tells us. "If you need, I'll come and spoon. Whatever you need. You can contact me via Twitter or Instagram and it is a service I provide. I'll leave you voicemails, like, ''It's OK we're ok are we breathing? We're breathing. First, we're going to realize it's not real. Then we're going to take it from there!'"

But enough from us and Jones, we want to know what you thought of Sleepy Hollow: Vote in our first Save It or Sink It poll of the 2013 fall tv season to let us know if you'll keep tuning in or if you're catching the next train out of Sleepy Hollow...
