Get excited: a Spice Girls reunion might be happening.

"I'd love to," Mel B told Ellen DeGeneres in an interview scheduled to air Friday on Ellen. "I'm gonna make it happen one day."

With the crowd cheering, Ellen asked when the girls might all come back.

"I'm hoping in the next year or two," the America's Got Talent  judge said.  "When everybody's cleared their diary a little bit."

Ellen then proposed a fantastic idea: the group reuniting on her show.

"They're gonna kill me for this," Mel B said with a big laugh.

And how did Mel B feel about their performance at the closing ceremony at the 2012 London Olympics?

"It was just nice to be back together," she explained. "You know, we have known each other for over 20 years now, and we support everything each other does and I think that's really important."

This isn't the first time Mel B has spoken about the U.K. girl group reuniting.

When asked whether the Spice Girls will do another album in May, Mel B. said, "Well, you know what, nobody thought we were going to get together last year to do the Olympics, and so, I always say I'm not gonna say anything. Just let whatever happens, happen. Why say 'yes' just yet? But maybe."

Fingers crossed!
