Things are getting serious between Britney Spears and her boyfriend David Lucado!

The pop star was in her beau's former home of Lynchburg, Va., where she met his mother, E! News has exclusively learned.

The three were spotted enjoying an early dinner at local eatery, The Neighbors Place on Thursday. Lucado is a former employee of the restaurant.

"They were very relaxed and having a good time," the source explained. "She was dressed casually, she wore jeans and a T-shirt."

And while it's rare for such a famous face to be seen in the small town, "No one tried to get photographs or autographs, everyone wanted them to have a normal night out at Neighbors," the source added.

Meeting the mother is tough enough without having to deal with being recognized!

All three ate salads and left after about an hour.

David and Brit Brit—who have been dating since earlier this year—didn't offer up any PDA, but he did show off his Southern charm by opening up the car doors for both ladies after leaving the restaurant.

The singer is currently in town to accompany her man to a family wedding. Spears' arrival was relatively low-key, according to Paul Schweighart, who owns Lynchburg Live Media. "She came in Wednesday night to Lynchburg on a flight from Charlotte, North Carolina," he tells E! News. "She was with two bodyguards. She sat in the front of the plane and she kept talking to the two men." According to Schweighart, Spears—who only brought a carry-on bag—was escorted off the plane by a flight attendant.

The blond beauty took a few days off from her grueling schedule, but she's going to get right back to work afterward.

Speaking of work…Brit revealed the cover art for the next single "Work Bitch" today on Twitter.

She captioned the pic, "4 days people! Go call the Po-Lice! Go call the Governor! #WorkB"

And if the cover art is any hint of what's to come for the music video, we are all in for quite a show.

The Grammy winner tweeted that her new track will premiere worldwide Monday, Sept. 16 at 6 p.m. ET on iHeartRadio or your local radio station. She then revealed, in a follow-up tweet, the song will be available at 12:01 a.m. ET on Sept. 17 on ITunes.
