Jennifer Hudson has been looking hotter than ever lately, and as Manhattan magazine's current cover girl, she captures our attention completely.

The singer stuns in the fall issue, wearing a cozy gray pullover sweater by Jason Wu paired with sparkling jewels and chic, pale nails.

Her makeup is positively flawless, with a dramatic smoky eye, lush lashes and a matte peachy nude lip that gives off a '60s-inspired retro quality.

Inside the glossy, the gorgeous star models a number of designer looks from a sleek Versace dress that shows off her fit figure, to an Hérve Léger by Max Azria skirt and jacket set, that's simply fabulous for fall.

Fashion and beauty aside, one thing's for sure: Hudson has a lot to celebrate.

The interview details her numerous award-winning accomplishments and highlights her upcoming projects including two new movies and an upcoming album, among other projects in the works.

The Weight Watchers spokeswoman also speaks candidly about her admiration for President Barack Obama, whom she spoke to recently about the causes she cares about, namely health care.

"Obama is so hands-on and aware. He'll tell stories off the top of his head about people who've written to him with their health issues, and he'll remember their names and every detail. He cares enough to know," she says.

And speaking of politics, Hudson also used her talents to portray a controversial character in the upcoming film, Winnie Mandela.

"It was intimidating to play Winnie after seeing how much she means to the people there. To some she's an angel and to some she's Satan, but either way, woo! The strength that woman possesses is amazing. We put so much into the story, and it took a lot out of us."

And while we love to see J.Hud on the big screen, we simply can't get enough of her incredible singing voice, which is why we're especially anxious for her third album to drop in the new year.

"This record is not about me playing a part or me as a spokesperson. Should I give away the title? Let's just say you're gonna get Jennifer-ized."

We can't wait.
