Add James McAvoy to the long list of Jennifer Lawrence admirers.

The Scottish actor couldn't help but say kind words about his X-Men costar while talking to E! News at the Toronto International Film Festival, and he also made it very clear that although J.Law is now an Academy Award winner (you go, girl!), she doesn't get any special attention.

"No, no, no. She's still the same ole girl," McAvoy told us, but also added, "We love Jennifer, she's amazing. Properly amazing."

Did you get that? She's properly amazing.

McAvoy also gushed about his The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Him and Her costar Jessica Chastain.

The celebs both attended the film festival to promote the flicks (yes, it's two films), and the actor said working with Chastain was a blast.

"She's a real professional, works real hard. She's a big star and all that—red carpet darling—but she's actually just a very goofy girl and you can have a really good laugh with her, which is important when you're dealing with something so profound and so emotional like The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby...to have that release and have a bit of a goofy boogie."

Goofy boogie...oh, James.

Chastain also spoke to E! News about the films, telling us that working on the project was like "heaven."

"It's two films we made for very little money, very quickly in the streets of New York and it was heaven. Absolutely. Like, the memories of why you wanna be an actor, with your friends, everyone loved each other. My best friend Jess Weixler's in it, Ned Benson—he wrote one of the scripts on the set of Tree of Life. We all were so connected and so supportive. It was like a dream come true being on set with everyone that I love."

Not to mention getting to work with such a handsome costar, but that's something the Oscar-nominated beauty is used to.

"It doesn't suck to be an actor," she says.
