Ariana Grande knew that the Twitter photo of Justin Bieber kissing her cheek would cause quite the stir among Beliebers.
"Of course, I saw it coming," the 20-year-old singer told E! News exclusively of her pal the Biebs. "I was like, ‘Whatever.' It's all silly, but whatever."
The infamous kissing pic, which caused a frenzy among fans, was posted back in August when Grande was opening several of Bieber's concerts. "You're crazy and nonna says thank you, she loves you," Grande captioned the pic.
Grande jokingly added to our own Will Marfuggi, "I'm going to kiss you on the cheek right now. Let's see if as many people react!"
But does Grande have a real boyfriend to kiss her on the cheek? Perhaps much-rumored love interest Nathan Sykes from The Wanted, who she dueted with on her song "Almost Is Never Enough"?
"Next question," she smiled, while bashfully turning away from the camera.
OK. OK. At least Grande admits it was a blast working with Sykes on their song.
"The coolest thing about that song is it was just supposed to be a ballad on my album," she dished. "Like it was just me singing it and then I got an email from Scooter Braun, my music manager, and he was like, ‘Hey, check this out.' He had surprised me and put Nathan's voice on it. I was like, ‘Damn.' And it was perfect. He's amazing."
