Designer Jason Wu went for soft and feminine at his Spring/Summer 2014 show for New York Fashion Week, held in a SoHo loft on Friday afternoon.

The collection featured shimmering and sheer separates, structured coats and tweed bikinis, with models sporting clean makeup and long, sleek ponytails. The runway was lined with abstract light fixtures, adding to the soft light offered from the building's arched windows.

Wu's offering brought out some big names for the front row: Vogue Editor-in-chief Anna Wintour got chummy with Alicia Keys and tennis star Maria Sharapova before the show. Actresses Jessica Paré and Emily Mortimer also attended the presentation.

It's been a busy year for the 30-year-old designer: With a new partnership with Lancôme and appointment as creative director of Hugo Boss women's wear, Wu shows no signs of slowing down. In an interview with The New York Times, the busy designer mused on where he might be in 10 years.

"Hopefully I will be able to take more vacations and have a house on an exotic island," Wu said. "Before that comes more work. But I don't feel like it's work. I'm professional. It's what I do."
