And the fashion and beauty frenzy has officially begun!
The BCBGMAXAZRIA runway show lit up the stage at Lincoln Center during New York Fashion Week this morning, showing a bevy of beautiful models in subtly sexy spring looks that completely captivated our attention.
Airy, light and totally luminous, the designs felt modern and cool for both uptown and downtown girls alike.
If this chic presentation is any indication of what's to come next season, we're totally on board!
The overall vibe felt natural, effortless and radiant, with hair parted down the middle and left loose, undone and extra glossy.
We got a behind-the-scenes peek at the hair and makeup magic before the actual runway show and chatted with makeup artist Val Garland of Sephora and stylist Laurent Philppon of Bumble and Bumble for the inside scoop.
Garland emphasized that her creative vision focused on creating a "veil of perfection", with a flawless bronzed face, bold lashes and a sheer nude lip using Marc Jacobs beauty products.
Here's how to get it:
1. Use two shades of foundation—one the matches your skin and one slightly darker—to achieve the most natural-looking contoured effect. Finish with a light pat of glossing cream on cheekbones to highlight bone structure.
2. Apply bronzer on eyes and finish with mascara for standout peepers.
3. Line lips with nude liner and top with nude lip color for a sexy sheen.
And there you have it!
Would you rock this fresh makeup look for spring?
