They say it's best to forgive and forget, and that's precisely what Dina Eastwood is learning.

Following the announcement that she and husband Clint Eastwood were ending their 17-year marriage last week, the brunette beauty has taken to Twitter to vent her frustrations and feelings as she goes through this difficult time.

And it looks like her housekeeper, who was often seen on her E! reality show Mrs. Eastwood & Company, has been dishing out such sage advice that Dina had to relay it to her fans.

"Y'all remember Lisa from Mrs.E&Co? The "housekeeper?" (She is actually my boss) She just dished up some TOUGH LUV on me and I want to share," she wrote.

"From Lisa on FORGIVENESS; "Think"What's better for ME,without hurting me?Think ‘I'm happy with what I have and I am sticking to it.'FORGIVE."

Over the holiday weekend Dina sent another strong message via Twitter, this time standing by her longtime husband and defending his character.

"I don't like reading negative things about Clint," she wrote. "He is a wonderful, good natured, brilliant person. No matter what, I attest to that."

Following the news of the separation, the veteran actor was seen dropping off a mystery blonde at LAX airport—which fueled the rumor mill into thinking there was something romantic brewing between the two.

Clint Eastwood's manager, Leonard Hirshan, who typically does not discuss his client's personal life, said he didn't know anything about the situation.

A source told E! News last week, however, that Clint and Dina had been living apart for some time.

The 48-year-old former TV news anchor and the 83-year-old Hollywood veteran married in March 1996 and welcomed their daughter, Morgan, nine months later.
