Over the weekend Kate Bosworth tied the knot to Michael Polish in a gorgeous outdoor ceremony at The Ranch at Rock Creek in Philipsburg, Mont.

But before she said "I Do," the bride first said yes to a stunning Oscar de la Renta dress and Vogue Weddings caught it all on tape.

"Seeing the dress, I was totally shocked at my complete lack of control over my emotions in that moment," Kate says after trying on the gown. "I love the dress because when you see the front it feels so minimal and then when you turn around there's dramatic sort of glorious fall of the fabric."

Bosworth goes on to say the style also has a deeper meaning to her personally: "It's a dress that reflects the love I have for my partner, it's a reflection on my life, it's a reflection of the woman I've become."

Of course, the dress isn't complete without a cathedral length veil and a few Stephen Russell sparklers such as a diamond headpiece and matching stud earrings.

And although there are no tears at her final fitting, she says her big day could be another story: "It will either be very emotional or well both kind of start laughing."

We'll have to wait for the couple's wedding photos in Martha Stewart Weddings to know how the nuptials turned out, but judging by the massive grins on the newlyweds faces as they touched down at LAX Monday morning, it seems like a complete success.
