We have a runner-up to Miley Cyrus' foam finger for strangest-looking hand of the night at the MTV Video Music Awards.

The day after the show, an obviously concerned Twitter user tweeted a photo of Robin Thicke posing with an unidentified fan that looked entirely normal—except for the unintentional 360-effect that the tweeter made sure to point out to Thicke's wife, Paula Patton.

"@PaulaPattonXO look at the reflection girl," Jen Leadley, whose profile states that she's in the U.K., tweeted along with the pic.

In the photo, it appears that we can see Thicke and the young lady's backs reflected in a mirror—and his hand looks questionably close to her butt.

If that's even his hand, and not someone else lurking back there. If that's even their backs!

And if that is Thicke's hand, it could be in varying degrees of distance from her behind.

Basically, the more you look at the photo, the more of a Magic Eye effect starts to take hold.

Leadley, who has not yet responded to a request for comment, apparently got a few questions from the twitterverse about her post and she replied Monday, "@britneyisland @hey_ceejay @csaleo @paulapattonxo idk but I hope it was a misunderstanding cuz they look good together so waz happening."

Patton, who accompanied her husband to the VMAs and the afterparty at 10AK in New York City (and yes, they do look great together), hasn't had anything to say about it.

She probably hasn't had time to notice, considering she's busy vacationing with her hubby in Miami. They hit the beach Wednesday with their son, Julian, and father and son were spotted playing in the sand together today.
