Attention all trendsetters heading to New York Fashion Week—pack your rain boots!

That's right, according to reports on Accuweather.com, it looks as though some fairly unfavorable weather is going to take the fashion world by storm—literally!

It's predicted that two hurricanes will develop in the Atlantic next week, meaning the Big Apple could very well be in big trouble if Mother Nature has anything to do with it.

Gasp!

From devastating Hurricane Sandy to blustery snow storms last winter, NYC's weather in recent months has been anything but pretty; and we're wincing at the thought of a devastating downpour affecting the chicest week of the season.

Models, editors, designers and celebs alike will certainly be clamoring for cover so as not to ruin a perfectly coordinated ensemble or flawless face of makeup.

And while it's too soon to tell if Manhattan will be affected by tropical storms at Lincoln Center just yet, it's enough warning for all of our favorite stylish celebs and industry insiders to start planning well in advance.

Word to the wise—stock up on designer rain gear, waterproof mascara and slick patent leather accessories, ladies!
