Tennis superstar Maria Sharapova just added designer to her already impressive résumé.

Expanding on her already popular line of adorable gummy candies, Sugarpova, the 6-foot-2 beauty (and Shape cover girl) just launched her very first collection of fashion and accessories—inspired by her delicious treats. (Check out the goodies here, sold exclusively at legendary New York City department store, Henri Bendel.)

We caught up with Maria in the Big Apple to dish on her on her new line, favorite designers, must-have beauty goods and what she loves to wear when she's serving on the court.

Here's what she shared:

You go to a lot of events—who are your favorite red carpet designers? I'm wearing David Koma right now. I feel like he's family because I've worn so many of his dresses for the Sugarpova launches. He's certainly up there as one of my favorites. I also love Sarah Burton [of Alexander McQueen], she just creates beautiful, beautiful pieces. I also love seeing Marc Jacobs' vision go from his own line to Louis Vuitton.

And what about for everyday wear? What do you rock on the weekends? For everyday, it's a little bit simpler for me, although I love the theatrical pieces of couture. Rick Owens, Isabel Marant and a little bit of Chloé are my go-tos.

Now let's chat beauty! Any must-haves in your cosmetic bag right now? For me, it's all about sunscreen, like organic line Coola, because I'm in the sun all the time. I don't actually wear a lot of makeup on a daily routine. I use a Japanese product called Kanebo for my concealer and mascara

Are you a shopper? What was the last product you picked up at your local beauty counter? I'm not a crazy shopper, but it was probably a Chanel lipstick.

Why did you decide to launch your new Sugarpova fashion and accessories line? Did you want to follow in some of your favorite designers' footsteps? Everyone really responded well to the Sugarpova logo—the lips—so I wanted to partner again with Henri Bendel to create a line based off of it—T-shirts, cosmetics, jewelry. But first, I wanted to make hair clips that I could wear on the court.

Now dish—you're a tennis superstar with a flawless body, do you eat your candy as you're preparing for major tournaments like the U.S. Open? Yes, I love sweets. It's all about sweets for me. Right now, I love the quirkys and the gumballs. I'm lucky because I do work out for a living. Sometimes I think if I ate as much as I do, how would I survive?

And finally, what do you love to wear when you're playing? Well I wear my sponsor Nike, but for night competitions, I like to wear something patterned, which is new and different from the solids I normally wear.

And there you have it!
