On Tuesday, Aug. 27, the 21-year-old Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model tweeted a picture of her "amazing golf lesson" with the legendary Arnold Palmer.
Wearing a conservative, polka-dotted sweater, dark, patterned shorts, sneakers and her hair neatly pulled back, Kate looked right at home on the green. Mr. Palmer, 83, was all smiles alongside the blond beauty, clearly happy to teach Ms. Upton a few tips and tricks of the game.
Kate, who's obviously a fit young woman, pursued her athletic interests long before she was taking the swimsuit and high-fashion worlds by storm. As an avid equestrian, she showed and competed horses on a national level. "I grew up around horses, and that really is my passion," she told GQ in 2012.
Her advice for anyone wanting to hop in the saddle? "Well, it's about having your horse trust you and trusting your horse," she said. "And then with that relationship, you guys can compete, and he'll want to please you. Then you'll win."
Sounds like Kate owes Arnold a horseback riding lesson!
