Nothing was off limits at Comedy Central's James Franco Roast last night in Los Angeles.

Funny people like Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, Andy Samberg, Sarah Silverman and Bill Hader were among the roasters who ripped into, among others things, Franco's infamous Oscar hosting, speculation about his sexuality, his unexplainable art projects, his poetry and so much more.

Roast Master Rogen opened the night by wondering aloud why he agreed to host the evening.

"How high was I when I said I would do this?" Franco's Pineapple Express costar cracked. "Is this punishment for The Guilt Trip?"

What followed was a hilarious two-hour show of roasters not only skewing Franco, but also each other.

Here, we give you some of the highlights—at least what our editors will let us post. For the absolute raunchiest (and most politically incorrect) material, you'll have to tune into the roast on Sept. 2 on Comedy Central.

"Every guy wants to be him and he wants to be in every guy," Rogen said in his introduction of Franco.

This began a countless stream of Franco-must-be-gay jokes.

"James is so bad in bed, he doesn't even clean the jizz off my back when he is finished," Samberg said. "Talk about chivalry being dead!"

While Franco quipped that the roast was his "punishment" for the Academy Awards, he also joked, "I was a genius at the Oscars—that was experimental tuxedo sleep art!"

Looking at Franco on stage, Rogen said, "Look at me doing all the talking while you sit there doing nothing. I feel like I'm hosting the Oscars with you!"

Check out more from the roast on E! News tonight at 7 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.
