Teen Mom Couple Become Legal Guardians of Teenager

Two have been on the reality show Couple's Therapy

They may have given their baby up for adoption, but Teen Mom stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra have become parents once again.

Well, kind of.

The two took legal guardianship of his teenage sister earlier this month and Baltierra shared the major news with fans.

"2 days after taking the responsibility of guardianship of my lil sister, she got a job!" he wrote on Twitter. "My & @CatelynnLowell are beyond proud of her."

And despite the ups and downs that viewers of the hit MTV show have seen Baltierra go through, with regards to his family drama and deciding to not raise his baby with Lowell, it looks like the reality star's primary focus is his family.

"Raising a teen is not easy!" he also wrote on his account. "But I love my lil sister & will stop at NOTHING to make sure she is well prepared for her future #FamilySupport"

The young couple has had their relationship troubles exposed even further on the VH1 show Couple's Therapy.

Between abandonment issues and drug and alcohol-related issues with their parents, the show has highlighted some of the struggles that Baltierra and Lowell face on a daily basis.

The cameras have followed them through their engagement, breakups, makeups, and often emotional breakdowns.
