Love is in the air!
It seems like there's a new celebrity engagement nearly every week, and this time, it's One Direction's own Zayn Malik and new fiancée Perrie Edwards!
Malik officially put a ring on it over the weekend, proposing to his 20-year-old ladylove down on one knee and presenting her with a stunning band featuring three sparkling diamonds.
So gorgeous!
The multistone piece is certainly sparkly and eye-catching; a perfect fit for the young entertainer who is a member of the girl group Little Mix.
As for current engagement ring trends, we've seen a wide range of styles and cuts lately including Ashley Tisdale's massive cushion-cut bling, and Desiree Hartsock's vintage-inspired Neil Lane ring featuring a unique rose gold and platinum setting.
Edwards debuted her stunner at the This Is Us premiere in London with her band mates this week, pairing it with a frothy embellished tulle gown by Patricia Bonaldi, strappy tan sandals, black nail polish and a high ponytail.
If this is any indication, we just know she'll make one beautiful bride!
Perrie's mother, Debbie Duffy, confirmed the exciting news to Real Radio North East's Gary & Lisa Show on Wednesday, saying, "It's true. They got engaged on Sunday [Aug. 18] and it was absolutely lovely."
