Kelly Clarkson could never be an evil stepmom, but the bride-to-be admits she can be pretty tough with fiancé Brandon Blackstock's kids!
"I'm quick to go, 'I told you not to touch that,'" she told Ryan Seacrest Tuesday, Aug. 20, on his KIIS FM show. "We all work really well together, but I'm totally my mom. My mom was a hard mom. I'm probably that mom."
The 31-year-old singer has had to adjust to her new role. "I have a 12-year-old and a 6-year-old now…after being single for six years," she said. "We all live together and everything. It's so different, but it's perfect. They're awesome and I actually really dig the mom thing."
The pair just unveiled another romantic engagement photo—Kelly glows in an elegant Marchesa dress.
Kelly won't officially become a stepmom until she and Brandon actually say "I do,"—but that's not too far down the road. "It's two months away. It's end of October," she said. "I'm so over it. It's so overwhelming. We're just doing a lot—touring and the wedding and the Christmas album, so I'm over the wedding part."
When Kelly and Reba McEntire's stepson do tie the knot, Blake Shelton will officiate the ceremony! "He's marrying us. He totally is," she told Entertainment Tonight back in April. "He can be very sentimental."
Awww. Somehow we think the Clarkson-Blackstock wedding will be a beautiful, sweet and fun celebration!
