UPDATE: A source tells E! News that Aaron Kamin, Alex Band's former fellow member of The Calling, is currently taking "appropriate steps" to ensure that Band doesn't continue to bill himself and the band he is performing with as "The Calling."

"Aaron Kamin wants to protect the brand 'The Calling' and also protect the group's fans, so they won't become disappointed if they come to concerts expecting to see a truly reunited version of 'The Calling' only to see Alex and his current group of backing musicians," the source says. "Aaron has reached out to Alex a number of times over the years to discuss a true reunion project but, so far, those discussions have not gotten any traction."
