All Miguel might want right now is a lawyer.
The 27-year-old pop-R&B heartthrob was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving during a traffic stop early Thursday morning after officers smelled alcohol and he failed field sobriety tests, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A CHP spokesperson tells E! News that Miguel, whose full name is Miguel Jontal Pimentel, was initially pulled at around 2:30 a.m. for speeding and having tinted windows on his 2013 BMW X6.
He then blew a .10 and a .11 on different breathalyzer tests—a .08 percent blood-alcohol level is considered the legal minimum for intoxication in California—and was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence.
Miguel was booked at the CHP's West L.A. Station on a misdemeanor DUI charge and released at 5:13 a.m. on $5,000 bail.
The "Adorn" singer—the smash-hit single earned him a Grammy for Best R&B Song this year—is due in court Sept. 9. His rep has not yet returned a request for comment.
