Prince George was precious when he was just a day old, and not surprisingly, he's a handsome little guy at the three-week mark, too!

On Wednesday, in one of his first post-baby public appearances, Prince William attended the Anglesey Show in Wales, an annual agricultural fair similar to a county fair, and he made sure to give an update on the Prince of Cambridge and Kate Middleton

"Catherine is sorry that she cannot be here today at the county show, but she and George would have loved to have been here," he said. "He's pretty loud but of course very good-looking!"

William also joked about how challenging taking care of a newborn can be. "I have to say that I thought search-and-rescue duties over Snowdonia were physically and mentally demanding," he said, "but looking after a 3-week-old baby is up there!"

When William's job as a military helicopter pilot ends next month, the Cambridges will leave Anglesey behind for a life in London. But Will and Kate will never forget the their time there.

"This island has been our first home together, and it will always be an immensely special place for us both," Will said. "Catherine and I look forward to returning again and again over the coming years with our family."

"From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making my wife and me so welcome when we arrived here," he continued. "I know that I speak for Catherine when I say that I have never in my life known somewhere as beautiful and as welcoming as Anglesey."

William also got a chance to meet with local farmers, judge a cattle contest and even spent some time with a falcon. Plus, he met Sharon West, the 16-year-old girl whom he and his RAF team rescued from drowning last August.

"I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for you," the grateful teen told him. "You saved my life."

Ah, someone's definitely cut out to be a daddy.
