When Oprah Winfrey makes a bold move, it usually pays off.

Such was the case when the media mogul opted for a slim-fitting dress at last night's Lee Daniel's The Butler premiere in Los Angeles.

But the tight style wasn't the only reason the former talk-show host turned heads while on the red carpet; the frock's dazzling fuchsia couldn't be ignored.

The film's star has been open about her weight struggles in recent years, revealing that she gained over 40 pounds due to a thyroid condition. Yet, in her figure-hugging sheath, the self-made billionaire looked significantly slimmer while still accenting her curves. Perhaps, the famous weight-loss queen is once again on one of her famous diet and exercise kicks.

Early in the day, before she slipped into the hot-pink number, the OWN Network founder gave fans a sneak peek of her primping process.

She shared a video on her Instagram account, in which she lounging comfortably while her longtime hair stylist Andre Walker and makeup artist Derrick Rutledge applied last-minute touch-ups.

The TV star joked she was feeling "very Heidi like" due to her milkmaid braids. "See you on the red carpet!" she finished.

In that dress, how could we miss you?
