Lily Collins is all about Mortal thoughts these days.
The actress is set to light up the big screen in the highly anticipated movie adaptation of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, based on the hit YA literary series by Cassandra Clare.
On Monday night, the 24-year-old stopped by Chelsea Lately, ostensibly to promote the film, which opens on Aug. 21. But it was another, ahem, supporting player (or rather, a pair of them) that ended up stealing the conversation.
Those would be Collins' lush eyebrows.
So luxuriant are they, in fact, that they've now even garnered their very own Twitter page.
"I don't run it—I'll have you know, I don't run it," the actress insisted to host Chelsea Handler. "I don't know where they come up with these things. They've got a mind of their own."
Indeed, they do: The account, which has been active for more than two years now, is a virtual Pandora's box of delectable bons mots.
"Make sure to check me out in MY first film The Mortal Instruments: City of Brows!" read one recent tweet.
"Getting extra bushy this month. Gotta make sure Lil stays warm through the winter," quipped another older tweet.
The verbose pair even weigh in on a wide range of pop culture topics, including this one: "In my mind #RHOBH stands for Really Hot Outrageous Brows Holla!"
For her part, Collins, who recently split up with boyfriend and Mortal Instruments costar Jamie Campbell Bower, seems happy to be in on the joke.
"They're kind of part creepy, kind of part cool," she said. "I don't know what's worse: Not knowing, or knowing the person [behind it] and seeing them every day. It could be my mom for all I know—I have no idea."
It's enough to raise some eyebrows.
Be sure to tune in to Chelsea Lately weeknights at 11 p.m. on E!
