Kerry Washington revealed that she secretly harbors some seriously slammin' pipes when she recently took her karaoke skills out for a spin and gave audiences a sneak peek at her singing prowess.
And suffice it to say, the 36-year-old Scandal star proved she could easily give wannabe songbirds a run for their melisma.
It all went down this past weekend at the Teen Choice Awards, where Jordin Sparks played celeb interviewer and chatted with a slew of the night's attendees.
When it came time to hunker down with the newly married Washington, Sparks quickly put her in the hot seat: Sparks asked the Emmy-nominated actress to do a brief duet after Washington copped that her go-to karaoke ditty is "any Disney song."
Washington's initial reaction was a swift one.
"Sing with you? You're, like, the singer!" she said incredulously.
After initially playing coy, Washington soon conceded, and the two belted out a snippet of "A Whole New World" from Aladdin.
The mini-karaoke session left the 23-year-old American Idol champ suitably floored.
"Yes, girl! You hear this?!" Sparks exclaimed after Washington belted out her first bar from the song.
After hearing the actress sing the rest of the tune, we couldn't agree more.
Memo to Hollywood: Somebody line up a movie musical for the gal, pronto.
