Carrie Underwood already has one successful career, but it looks like the country singer is eyeing another profession entirely!
The blond beauty cohosted Good Morning America on Monday and tried her hand at becoming a news anchor.
But the new role isn't as new to Carrie as one may think.
She majored in mass communications with an emphasis in journalism when she graduated from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma back in 2006.
So it makes perfect sense that she was on hand to deliver the "Pop News" segment on the morning talk show—and she nailed it!
Carrie, who appeared professional in a floral print top with camera-ready hair and makeup, dished on everything from the September issue of Vogue (with Jennifer Lawrence gracing the cover) to adorable viral puppy videos.
Carrie called the Hunger Games cover girl "stunning" and described the Mario Testino-helmed photo shoot at length.
But don't take our word for it, check out Carrie's newscaster skills in the clip above!
How do you think the former American Idol star did?
