As you may have heard, Kristen Stewart was a no show at the Teen Choice Awards Sunday.
Despite the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 winning a total of seven awards, including individual accolades for both K.Stew and ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson, neither half of Robsten was on hand to accept their TCA surfboards.
So what happened?!
While many Twihards began speculating the former couple did not attend the show at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles due to their recent split (they did earn the award for Choice Movie: Romance, after all), there's actually a perfectly solid (and drama-free!) explanation for Bella Swan's absence: her work.
The 23-year-old actress is currently filming her upcoming flick Camp X-Ray, in which she plays a soldier stationed to Guantanamo Bay, and E! News has learned she did not attend the award show because she was working.
According to the fan-created Twitter page for the Peter Sattler-directed film (which provides numerous detailed updates daily), the Welcome to the Rileys star was reportedly on set during the Fox-broadcasted show and was therefore unable to grace the blue carpet with her presence.
"Day 20 :)," the Camp X-Ray fanpage posted the same day as the TCAs. The cast was reportedly filming at Nelles Correctional Facility in Whittier, Calif. over the weekend.
An Instagram pic of Stewart and costar Lane Garrison has also popped up on the micro-blogging page, which was apparently taken Aug. 9.
In the photo, K.Stew is showing off her signature tough gal 'tude, posing with her best badass face and standing with her arms crossed next to her costar, who is also sporting the same expletive-filled baseball cap.
The Teen Choice Awards have consistently been a favorite for fans of the five-fold franchise, and the event typically marks a rare public appearance by the Twilight trifecta. Last year, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner accepted the Ultimate Choice award for the vamptastic films, which have received 48 TCAs to date.
It's been almost three months since the former lovebirds pulled the plug on their nearly four-year relationship.
Since their breakup, Kristen has been keeping busy with work, while Rob has been enjoying the single life and is said to be "in a good place" post-split.
