Little Monsters, it's finally here!

Lady Gaga's long-awaited single "Applause" has hit airwaves a week early!

Mother Monster announced the good news via Twitter this morning, saying, "911 summon the monster troupes," and "a pop music emergency is underway 911."

It appears months of fans waiting patiently for a taste of the singer's new music had come to an early end after the single was leaked online.

"Due to hackers an abundance of low/high quality leaks…we issue this pop music emergency…monsters spread the word," she added via Twitter.

Gaga has been hinting bits and pieces of the song (including photos and lyrics) over the past few weeks.

She wrote: "Give me that thing that I love/ Put your hands up/ Make ‘em touch/ A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E."

When fans asked for clarification on what the app entails, and how to ensure that they snag themselves a copy, Gaga was quick to answer all their questions and concerns.

"The APP is in essence, an interactive jewel case," she explained. "The ARTPOP app is Free, available in App Stores on your device. You can purchase the music through the ARTPOP app once it's downloaded."

"Or you can purchase the album at the music store+download the free app separately at the app store," she added.

After her emergency release today, it looks like Gaga's got a lot more in common with Katy Perry.

The two, who engaged in a little lovefest via Twitter over the weekend, both released the first singles off of their new albums on the same day.

But there's no competition here...Gaga and Perry went back and forth with their mutual admiration for one another (and excitement for each other's new tunes).

"Wanna grab some shovels and f--k up some hackers?" Gaga wrote. "@katyperry excited to hear your ROAR, sorry to hear about your truck!" Mother Monster added, referring a fender-bender involving Perry's promotional truck for her upcoming album, Prism.

Early Sunday, the 28-year-old Perry wrote her back: "@ladygaga what a WILD weekend so far...claws out, paws up! Looking forward to puttin my hands up & making them touch too!"

It's been over two years since her last album Born This Way was released. The full album, entitled Artpop will be available for all Little Monsters to rock out to on Nov. 11.

No word yet on whether or not the album will be released a bit early, just like single. We can only hope!
