On Aug. 29, 2013, Bill and Giuliana Rancic's baby boy will celebrate his first birthday. Naturally, this calls for some major celebration! So on Sunday, just a few weeks before the actual big day, mom and dad threw their little man a Western-themed blowout bash.
In an exclusive photo obtained by E! News, you can see the Rancics were committed to the cowboy theme. Each table had its own candy-filled centerpiece—topped off with a chicken toy—and guests drank from mason jars. Every partygoer's place setting included a checkered, red-and-white cloth napkin, and plates of delicious food were set upon basket-style chargers.
Duke's special day also included a mini-train, lemonade stand, wishing well and petting zoo. Of course, desserts were an integral part of the party, and the birthday boy and his guests enjoyed slices from a huge, cowboy-themed cake.
So just why did the Rancics go Western to celebrate The Duke turning 1? Giuliana explained that it was in honor of Duke's namesake, John Wayne (nicknamed Duke!), who happens to be the most famous movie cowboy of all.
John Wayne's the famous cowboy, sure, but Duke Rancic is the cutest cowboy of all!
