Prince Harry is following in his mother's footsteps.

Following his trip to Mozambique in 2010, the red-headed royal headed to Angola on a private visit to see mine-clearing operations once again, the Palace confirmed to E! News.

The 28-year-old prince will be touring the minefields there with the charity Halo Trust, for which he is a patron.

There's been no word yet on how long he will be staying in Angola.

Prince Harry's mom, Princess Diana, was also a big supporter of the Halo Trust and visited Angola in 1997, just six months before her death.

During her trip, the Princess of Wales visited the towns of Huambo and Kuito, as well as Angola, which helped bring attention from around the world to the human suffering caused by land mines in the region, according to CNN.
