And if anyone is an expert on Lively's hair, it's Ortega. Not only did he style her hair for the Lucky shoot, but he also prepped the leggy lady's hair for some pretty high-profile events in her life, including the Savages premiere and her ultra-secret wedding to hubby Ryan Reynolds.

So, what advice does Ortega offer gals looking to recreate Lively's effortlessly gorgeous hair?

For starters, he suggests skipping the shampoo! That's right, the stylist made sure Lively didn't wash her hair the day before the shoot, explaining that natural oils help give hair the texture it needs to achieve the loose curls he created for the cover girl.

To perfect those beachy waves, he also recommends reaching for the T3 BodyWaver and a touch of dry shampoo.
