Did Emma Roberts want to try a cronut so bad that she tried cutting a lengthy line, only to be turned away?

According to the Daily Mail, the 22-year-old actress arrived at the Dominique Ansel bakery in NYC to try one of their wildly popular sweet treats (a mix between a croissant and a donut), but wasn't let in by the shop's doorman because of a line of people that stretched around the block.

However, when Roberts stopped by Jimmy Fallon's how later that day, she gushed about her obsession with the trendy dessert and cleared up the cronut confusion.

"I haven't had one because today I went to the bakery to get a cronut and I was like, ‘Oh my god, there's no line,'" she explained to Fallon. "And I walk in and they're like, ‘Um, the line is actually down the block.' So I walked out, I went to the end of the line and waited and waited and then they were like, ‘Sorry, there's no more cronuts.' They were out of cronuts!"

She added, "I was looking at it on the internet all day and then when I didn't get one I was really upset."

Luckily for Roberts, Fallon then presented her with—you guessed it!—a cronut of her very own to try on the show. After biting into the cronut, Roberts gushed, "It's the best thing ever!"
